Our stimulus inspiration for the thriller opening sequence was Se7en. From analysing the Se7en opening title sequence we noticed that the large eye catching, chilling effect was composed through the editing and the disturbing images. Revolving around these terms we decided to devote a vast amount of time on the editing i.e. using many different camera shots is rapid succession to create a fast paced feel to the opening.
We decided to do a psychological/supernatural thriller opening about a young girl named Alice Springs whos was violently murdered by an obsessed man (me lol) only later to be taunted by her unrestful spirit. As illustrated in the slides below the location choices, the woods and a house are conventional thriller locations that hopefully grab the viewers attention through reminiscent experiences of viewing other thrillers and delivering in the same way...
