How we edited the titles.

After choosing the font, we took it to livetype to experiment with the different effects. There was a particular effect called 'Frigid' this is effect made the letters flash like so.


However, we did not like the blue that it flashed with, as it looked too amatuer. So we took the font into Final cut pro and typed out the title. By copying the same title, but moving it slightly, the two clips can be aligned. The top


To get the flicker effect, we chopped the top title with the razor tool in very thin pieces.


Then by removing every other clip reveals the moved clip underneath.


Then when the title is played, the clip will flicker between both titles, producing the intended effect, in black and white.


After this we played with speeding up the clips and editing the transparency on one clip.
